How does the service work?: The service will work somewhat like a combination between a online dating service and a lead generating service.
Landlords & Renters
- A landlord creates a free user/landlord profile on Housing.com. Next, they list all their Section 8 rental properties and publish them to the site.
- Renters arrrive at Housing.com looking to rent a Section 8 apartment, home, condo, townhouse or other type of dwelling. They fill out a brief questionaire and create a tenant profile. They start searching for vacancies. If they find something that looks good they submit a landlord contact request.
- Landlord recieves an email indicating that someone is interested in their listing. Landlord log into the site and views tenant profile.
- Alternatively, a landlord can login into the site and search for leads by zip code. If the landlord finds someone that looks like a good rental candidate they can choose to submit a contact request.
- Renter recieves and email indicating that a landlord may have a rental possibility.
The service will be free for all landlords who just want to create a landlord profile and list their properties. And free users can will be able to view partial renter information. Landlords with a paid subscription status will be able to view ALL a pontential renter's information (contact info, etc). Our staff also operates as a landlord laision service for paid subscribers. In other words, we handle all the primlinary communication to ensure a high-quality lead delivered to your doorstep.

- Sort tenants by voucher or without voucher.
- View Experion-validated credit scores of a prospective tenant.
