Upon arrival, each man is interviewed by a counselor to determine his individual need. At the conclusion of the interview, he is provided with information regarding meals, overnight accommodations, and the possibility of obtaining clothing and medical assistance. He is then provided a shower, clean sleepwear, and a comfortable bunk in which to sleep.

God has provided the facilities to not only bed and house men overnight, but to also provide accommodations on a more long-term basis. Some of the men who come to PGM stay for many nights or even months. These men have the understanding, however, that after staying 14 nights, they must wait for a bed until the newer guests are assigned their beds. Many men do profess Christ as Savior and Lord as a result of the faithful counseling of our staff and the preaching of the Gospel in the daily services. These men are then invited to join the Resident Bible Program, a rigid program designed to teach sound biblical truths as well as develop stability through discipline and personal responsibility.

A woman who comes to the Mission is provided with a shower, food, clothing, and overnight accommodations. Each woman is counseled to determine her specific needs and is helped accordingly. But more importantly, she is given an opportunity to experience the life-changing love of God. She witnesses this unconditional love in the lives of the staff she meets and also in the fellowship of the evening Gospel Services. Women who choose to receive God's free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ are invited to join the Resident Bible Program. Through daily Bible classes and evening Gospel Services, the women and children learn first hand of the God who took them from despair into a life of promise.
