We cannot go right away whenever we wants. or If really urgent we have to take separate taxi or Separate autos. But Ordinary Middle class people really not affordable for those things. So its really a big problem. Next Clean Water for Drinking available only for 15- 20 days once. Street Dogs are really annoyable. its really scary to walk alone in the road even in the bare Morning are Afternoon time. Otherwise, In Pattanam lot of Shops, Shopping Complexes are available. In Monday evening Market we can buy whatever fresh vegetables, fruits we want. Ondiputhur and Singanalur are nearby townships for Pattanam. Irugur is the neighborhood village, where we can get emergency medical helps from the Government Hospital. In Pattanam there are lot of Private clinics available for Medical Treatment. Shanthi Gears social service is nearby for Pattanam. So we can get medical checkup from there also.read more

It was located outside of coimbatore corporation. It was developed in recent years as people moving here from city for buying sites. Many land development projects are ongoing here. L&T bypass was the reason for development in this area but it needs other connection to grow more. The climate was very calm and brezzy at evening due to short lakes nearby. Bus connectivity was not effective because of poor management and bus will arrive when there is enough passengers so mostly people prefer own vehicles for transport as of now. The L&T bypass is also an problem because it separates pattanam from the city crossing the bypass road was dangerous at certain times and its an accident prone area so over bridge or subway would be better for Pattanam growthread more
