While we develop and sell residential and commercial properties, the current focus is on boutique apartment projects. About, ALLEGRO BUILDERS & DEVELOPERS Allegro Builders & Developers is an extension of Allegro Ventures India Pvt Ltd. It has business establishments in Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Gujarat and is a well-known name in construction and real-estate development. Over the years, Allegro’s projects have been emblematic of the evolving character of Mangalore. Their projects, set in prime locations, are landmarks that define the dynamic spirit of the city. At Allegro, we blend high-quality aesthetics with technical finesse to create architectural beauties that serve as residential and commercial spaces. The man at the helm of this enterprise Sri.D.B.Mehta, its promoter so to speak is a Chartered Accountant by profession to star with and after clearing the civil services examinations, he joined the Indian Revenue Services in his allotted Central excise and customs department where he served for 10 years and thereafter left the IRS and took a plunge into private enterprise. While he took advantage of the boom times in the financial markets where he did well for himself, real estate development became an obvious choice for him as he had a landbank of considerable extent in his family circles which he could develop into residential and commercial spaces. He went into the business with his financial skills and quickly managed to learn what it takes to be a builder and was soon able to establish himself as a reputed builder in Mangalore. A reference to Annexure-I ( or in Partner profiles) here would give an insight into the various projects that he has successfully completed, some of which are considered as landmarks of Mangalore. MAHABALESHWARA BUILDERS & PROMOTERS The year 1992 saw Mahabaleshwara, who were a trusted name in the transport business, venturing into the real estate industry in Mangalore. They were among the pioneers as it were, to herald the apartment culture to Mangalore. Mahabaleshwara has developed numerous residential communities in its 30 completed projects in the past three decades. It was in 2011 that Mahabaleshwara began its foray into boutique residential properties in Bengaluru through its associate, Mahabaleshwara Projects. With vast knowledge and experience in the design, execution, and marketing of quality homes, Mahabaleshwara aims to provide quality housing for the middle and upper middle income groups. Sanjith Naik, has an architecture degree from MIT-Manipal, an MBA from Texas State University - USA , and has completed an Executive education program in Real-estate with Harvard university. Armed with these qualifications, very relevant to the construction and building industry or simply the real estate business, he joined Mahabaleshwara builders & Promoters a real estate/ property development firm specialising in apartment projects in Mangalore and was baptised by fire as it were and learnt his ropes in the building industry with hands on experience and rose to be its executive director. He also established a proprietary concern of his own in Bangalore by the Name and style of Mahabaleshwara Projects and has so far completed 5 projects and has started on the 6th one there. Sanjith Naik also has associations in other enterprises and social activities, the details of which are available at Annexure-II.( or in Partner profiles) The pooling of resources makes for a strong new entity called The Allegro Mahabaleshwara Ventures which should in the coming years ensure that their discerning customers get the best in the boutique housing space. Annexure-I D.B. Mehta commenced his working life as a Chartered Accountant, with additional qualifications in Cost Accounting and Bachelor of General Law. He enjoyed an eventful bureaucratic career in the Indian Revenue Service having qualified in the 1990 Batch of the Civil Service Exam. After a decade-long career as an IRS officer he embraced the opportunities of financial markets and the challenges of independent entrepreneurship by establishing ALLEGRO. ALLEGRO has successfully delivered many residential and commercial projects like "Acropolis Apartments" “Maximus Commercial Complex” and “City Centre Mall”(Copromoter) in the Central Business District of Mangalore. Other prominent projects which are successfully completed are “Adelphia“ and “Allegro Aureus“ in the elite neighbourhood of Falnir, Mangalore and “Aristaa Enclave” a residential-cum-Commercial project in Pandeshwar, near Prestige Forum Fiza Mall. "Aristaa Enclave" with a CRISIL 5 star rating and “Allegro Aureus” with a CRISIL 6 STAR rating are a testimonial of Allegro’s commitment to deliver on time a good product to their customers. “Aristaa Enclave” is the recipient of “Ultratech Award 2014” for the Best Highrise Structure and “Allegro Aureus” is the recipient of ‘CARE AWARDS 2019” for the Best Residential Building in its category. His business interests are in Renewable Energy and Automobile Dealership in the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Allegro’s ownership of a wind power units in Karnataka and Maharashtra has been motivated by a big picture of the environmental imperative for clean energy and to address the energy deficit of the nation in a sustainable manner. He is also the Chairman of India Green Building Council, Mangalore. His affection for his adopted City and State means he is active on advisory formations for infrastructure development. He has tendered advisory opinions to government bodies and departments on matters relating to fiscal policy & taxation, Building Bye Laws, TDR’s, Disaster Relief, Epidemic control etc. He was a laterally inducted President of the Kanara Builders Association and an impactful two terms as the President of CREDAI, Mangalore Chapter. He has been the President of the Board of Mangalore Stock Exchange for several years. He was a two-term elected Director on the Board of the Inter Connected Stock Exchange of India, Mumbai. He is actively sought on speaking platforms for expertise on various financial and trade related subjects. He has been on the Governing Body of Nirmiti Kendra Mangalore and is on the Board of Studies of Srinivas College of Management, Srinivas University, Mangalore. He is currently an Independent Director in Mangalore Smart City Ltd and Vice President of CREDAI Karnataka. As a builder, his motto is to do ethical business, to deliver value for money and to surpass customers’ expectations. Green Buildings and sustainable development are his forte. For him delivering on the commitment and after sales service are the two mantras for being successful. Annexure-II Sanjith Naik- Biodata • Sanjith Naik, has an architecture degree from MIT-Manipal, and an MBA from Texas State University - USA , and has completed an Executive education program in Real-estate with Harvard university. Sanjith has also had a short experience in teaching, while at Texas State University for his MBA. Upon completion of his MBA, he was invited to be a member of BETA GAMMA SIGMA – an international business honour society for AACSB-accredited schools, which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world. His early education was at St. Aloysius, Mangalore. • He is currently the Executive Director of Mahabaleshwara promoters and builders, Mangalore. In 2011 he expanded the business to Bangalore where he heads the operations. In addition to this, he also has his own proprietorship under the name Mahabaleshwara Projects. • Besides being the secretary and correspondent for Shakthi Residential school, Sanjith Naik is also the Managing Trustee of Shakthi Education Trust which runs Shakthi Residential school and PU College. Sanjith Naik is also a Trustee of Sri Gopalakrishna Temple Trust and Sri Gopalakrishna charitable trust, Shakthinagar Mangalore. In the year 2007, Sanjith Naik was among the select few speakers at the Mangalore Today “Genext” conclave, an event where prominent next generation leaders of the city were invited.
