This one of the best locality in Mumbai where all the necessary amenities are available nearby. environment of this locality in vibrant and you can find anything here very easily. from school to hospital all the facilities are available nearby. transportation is also easily accessible from any part of the city.read more

Good things here

AFAC school is 100m away, Kolekar hospital is available nearby which is available at a distance of 500m. Electricity and water supply is available 24 hours. Fire fighting system is also installed for safety. There is also a lift facility for going up and down. Mall is also available at some distance from home. parking is also available.read more

Many times we have to face traffic on the road. Water also gets accumulated on the road during rain.read more

Good things here

There is a good school available at some distance from home where one can go easily. Electricity supply is good. Rickshaw and auto are easily available. There is a good mall and supermarket available nearby where many things can be easily bought. The street lights on the road work properly at night. There are many small and big restaurants available nearby. Airport facility is also available at some distance from home.read more

Many times we have to face the problem of water shortage. Proper attention is not paid to the cleanliness of the roads and a lot of polythene and waste material is thrown on the side of the road.read more

a locality that i fondly remember as a former resident. the charming colony offered a unique blend of tranquility, convenience, and community. i cherished the area's well, maintained roads, clean surrounding, and picturesque view of the mumbai harbor. the locality's strategic location near the port and major highways connected us to to the rest of mumbai. the colony's amnities, including its parks, playgrounds, and community centers, made it an ideal place to raise a family.read more

there were also some drawbacks. one major issue was the areas isolation from the rest mumbai, with limited public transportation options and lack of connectivity to major hubs. additionally, the areas infrastructure was showing signs of aging, with frequent power outages and water supply issues. the colony's security was also concern, with instances of theft and vandalism reportedread more

Chembur is a suburb of Eastern Mumbai that changed from an industrial suburb to a residential hub over the years since Independence. Chembur is an old and fully developed suburban area located in the Eastern part of Mumbai at a distance of approximately 15km from the central part of the city. The name of this place is believed to have been derived from the Marathi word 'Chimboree' meaning large crab. Chembur was originally on the north-western corner of Trombay Island before the land reclamation project took place. The railway line for Chembur was first opened to passengers in 1924 and was made part of Greater Bombay in 1945. This place also has a history of having hosted refugees after independence and following partition. The growth and gradual development of residential areas occurred after the industrialisation of Trombay during war. Chembur eventually transformed from an industrial suburb to primarily a residential area after the construction of the Township Colony, Shell Colony and Station Colony undertaken by the Bombay Housing Board. Today Chembur is home to many more such colonies like BPCL, Tata Colony, Pestom, Indian Oil Nagar, HPCL, Chedda Nagar, Tilak Nagar etc. One can also find several independent houses in Chembur in combination with modern high rises and plenty of open spaces – something that is so difficult to find in Mumbai.One of the many notable landmarks and one of the biggest green cover areas for this locality is the Bombay Presidency Golf Club. Numerous well-developed suburbs can be seen nearby Chembur locality which includes Kurla, Deonar, Chunabhatti and Ghatkopar. Reasons to invest in Chembur:The building of the monorail, elevated road and the Eastern Freeway has significantly contributed to the fast paced growth of one of Mumbai's greenest suburbs.
